Will slot machines and marijuana enter Toronto's airports?

Contrary to rumors that slot machines and marijuana outlets will soon be located at Toronto's airports, local officials have issued statements refuting these facts.

The organization, which operates Pearson Airport, states that no preparations are being made to bring marijuana or gambling machines to the airport.

However, the company is trying to find new sources of revenue that would allow the development of the airport and the surrounding area. This will most likely be done by opening new outlets for fast food, snacks, and drinks.

The organization did not deny that the installation of slot machines and marijuana outlets was indeed discussed, but the issue did not move beyond the cabinets.

Nevertheless, government sources claim that a change may still take place soon, with the result that cannabis will be sold at Toronto airports.

According to the former Minister of Health, currently, president of the Canadian Cannabis Board, the idea of selling marijuana at the airport is indeed interesting, but it could entail some problems that would hinder a successful business.

Suppose the idea is approved and eventually implemented. In that case, Toronto airport will become the first place in the world where travelers could purchase marijuana completely legally since cannabis is completely legal in Canada.
